I am a senior chemistry major at Mississippi State University. I am a member of Dr. Fitzkee’s biophysical chemistry lab (2018--present). During my research experience at the university, I have become especially interested in the applications of biologically relevant chemistry. Moreover, I have developed a keen awareness and enthusiasm for environmental chemistry. My curiosity for this field was piqued during the summer of 2019 as I studied renewable energy resources in Iceland and Scandinavia. I enjoy serving the SMACS crew as the social media coordinator. I also have the privilege of representing Mississippi State as an Ambassador for both the Shackouls Honors College and the College of Arts and Sciences.
