I am a senior studying chemistry at Mississippi State University from Carriere, MS. I first found my interest and enthusiasm about chemistry at Pearl River Community College from Dr. Glenn Dale. After graduating PRCC, I continued my education at MSU where I am exploring the different types of chemistry through my degree path. I have high hopes to attend Optometry school after receiving my BS in Chemistry and Minor in Biology; however, with the wide career options chemistry provides, I am still investigating other life paths such as the field of extraction chemistry. With the help of SMACS, I have gained an even greater appreciation of not only chemistry but also my school, professors, and peers.
