I am from Birmingham, Alabama. I have worked in the Emerson Research Group since February 2019. I am cross trained in inorganic synthesis and biochemistry research, and I prefer to do biochemical research with antibiotics. I will graduate with a BA in chemistry and a minor in psychology with a medical humanities certificate. I plan to attend medical school at UMMC in fall 2021. I have been a part of SMACS since freshman year, and I have been an officer since my sophomore year. I have been Secretary, Treasurer, and now Senior Consultant. If I am not in Hand Lab, I am either baking or spending time with my fellow ChemDawgs.
