Invest in Good People

We rely on our team’s efforts to raise money through a variety of fundraising activities. We spend our own money on creating and implementing innovative, high-quality programs and events to the local schools and surrounding community. We also fund our own SMACS Scholarship and financially support our undergraduate chemistry majors to present their research at regional and national conferences every year.

Your gift helps SMACS continue to achieve their mission and continue to inspire young children to consider a future career in STEM. The MSU SMACS is run solely by volunteers who devote enormous amounts of time and effort to achieving our mission. We have been nationally recognized by winning an ACS ChemLuminary award in 2019 for our outstanding volunteerism under the direction of two-time President Zoe Fokakis.
